How we handle your information
Short version: we use what you give us only to build and send your proposal and respond to your request. We never sell it, and you can opt out anytime.
What we collect
When you use our proposal builder, we collect what you enter — your business details, the numbers and scope you choose, and your contact info (name, business, email, and optionally phone and website), plus the state you operate in (needed to check the rules that apply before anything goes live).
The lost-revenue calculator on our homepage runs entirely in your browser and sends us nothing unless you choose to submit the proposal form.
Why we use it
Only to build and send you a custom proposal, and to respond to your request. That's the whole purpose.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We don't drop you into a drip or spam sequence — you get one proposal unless you ask for more.
- We don't share your info beyond what's needed to prepare your proposal.
Consent & opting out
By submitting the form you agree to be contacted about your request by phone and email — and by text only if you separately opt into SMS — including by an automated or AI-assisted system. You can opt out anytime: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us and we'll remove you.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages — through our opt-in form, by texting us first, or verbally or in writing — we send texts such as appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to your questions, and service updates, sometimes using an automated system. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never shared for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked for. Full program details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
How it's handled & stored
Your completed form is sent to our team so a person can build your proposal. Your in-progress answers are also saved locally on your own device so you can close the form and finish later — that draft stays on your device and clears once you submit.
Our AI is always disclosed
Our agent (Dash) identifies itself as an AI in the first message of every call, chat, or email — no exceptions. We'd rather earn trust than fake it.
Services and processors
First Signal uses service providers only to operate, secure, support, measure, and bill for the service:
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the site, provides Turnstile abuse prevention, and may process limited security and edge log data.
- Google Analytics 4 and Metricool provide optional audience measurement. They load only after you choose “Accept analytics.” You can change that choice from “Privacy settings” in the footer.
- Web3Forms delivers proposal and onboarding submissions; Stripe securely stores payment methods and processes billing. First Signal does not receive full card numbers.
- Airtable supports lead and operational records; Anthropic processes messages sent to the on-site AI chat; and Zoho delivers operational email.
Local storage and retention
Your browser may store an in-progress form draft and your analytics preference on your device. Submitted requests and operational records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, deliver the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet recordkeeping obligations. Retention can vary with the type of request and any active customer relationship.
Your choices
You can reject optional analytics without losing access to the site. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions, by emailing hello@firstsignalagents.com. First Signal is operated from Cape Cod, Massachusetts and serves customers in the United States.
